Júlia Ivorra is a Design Researcher at the BBC with a passion for Product Design. A background in UX led Júlia into her current career path focusing closely on user research. Her position in the BBC Sport Digital Team sees her leading quantitative and qualitative research projects covering a broad range of methodologies.

The recent online coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics was undertaken by the BBC Sport Digital Team and smashed all BBC sports records, with over 100 million hits worldwide.

Júlia’s talk will focus on how the team adopted a qualitative research approach to learn from this incredible summer of sport and how these insights are being used to improve the BBC online service and plan the coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
